"I feel most 'musically at home' playing Django-inspired jazz manouche music. But I wanted to push myself to add the early American jazz influence of players like Eddie Lang, Adrian Rolini and Louis Armstrong, so naturally I went to New Orleans for five weeks of soaking up that musical culture." - A. MacDonald
